Web-Savvy Burglar Used Victims’ Facebook Account To Brag About His Loot

In an act that added insult to injury, a web-savvy burglar mocked his victim and bragged about his loot online using the victims’ own Facebook account.

The victim identified as Victoria Richardson, 42, residing in Hove, East Sussex, UK reported to authorities that a burglar ransacked her house last week, taking an iPhone, a Nintendo DS,  cash, debit cards and a black Toshiba laptop.

Later, when the victim logged into Facebook, she was surprised to find out that the thief also managed to access her account.

One of the many messages left by the thief said “on my new laptop”. Another said “Listening to music on my new phone feels so good.”

Not satisfied, the thief even mocked the victim, saying she left Victoria’s television set because it was “rubbish”.

The thief said, “I have the laptop, phones ok but a bit scratched it’ll do, tv was rubbish so I left it. ds was a bonus, now to the porn shop, thank you toshiba is my favourite make”.

The heartless thief signs off saying, “Regards your nighttime burglar”.

The burglary was reported to the Sussex Police where a spokeswoman said, “Being burgled is traumatic enough for any family but for the culprit to apparently use their stolen possessions to publicly gloat over the crime is a sinister twist.”

Ms. Richardson said, “I felt very spooked. It felt like they were rubbing my nose in it.”

“They have been in your physical space, and then they are in your online space,” she added.

The Sussex police is taking this matter seriously. They are doing a thorough investigation to bring the offender to justice.

Now That’s One Pissed Off Customer!

Fairly recently, I had penned down a set of books which dealt with the mindset required for the running of an entire business. I was candid with my readers and have put in everything that I knew about it and everything that they had to know. I have categorically explained that things are really not as easy as they seem and you have to put in a lot of hard work to succeed. Many people have read it and quite a few have even frowned on it. But, most of the people were more than happy with the honesty and candidness with which I have written the book. However, for those who raised questions about my work, perhaps they really believe that quick riches accumulation is possible.

But where am I going with this? Does it really have anything to do with the topic of my article? Well, you will understand slowly but first contemplate very carefully on what I have said in the preceding paragraph. If you pay much thought to it then you will understand that the idea is pretty confusing but very clear in a way. However, I am just wasting time, let’s get to the topic.

See, no matter what you do, how much service you give to your customers and how excellent you behave with them, it is a fact that at all times, everybody cannot be pleased. There will always be people who will complain that your service is not up to the mark or your product is not as good as advertised. If you can accept the fact that you will leave behind a trail of unsatisfied customers then your movement towards success as an internet marketer will be much smoother and mentally satisfying.

You may think that I am talking rubbish because the aim of any perfect business is to ensure cent percent customer satisfaction and product development. But that is not always true and I will tell you why the above paragraph makes sense. When after days of revelling in the feeling that customers are sending in amazingly positive reviews about your product, you get one customers asking for a money back, you really get shattered. It used to happen to me also because, the product is my child, my own creation and I cannot tolerate anybody calling it useless or trash.

But I have come a long way and gone above all of that.

See, basically, there are always a handful of people who love to criticise and complain and if you take their words to heart then you are the foolish creature. Ignore and be happy, they deserve your aloofness and ignorance.

Once you get this point, you will find how much better and happier your success seems to you.

So, train yourself for success and complaints which come with it, you still have a long way to go.

Marketer? Person? What are you?

In one of the many forums that I have attended as an internet marketer and developer, a very interesting topic of discussion was raised. The question was, who should we put first, the person or the marketer within us. The meaning of the statement was whether when you are making a sale, you get that sale completed by hook or crook, or do you stay within your limits and compromise on marketing. Now, most of you who know me can easily say which view I will take, but the others would simply have to guess. I for myself would not say anything at this moment as I do not want to jeopardize my situation. But the answer will be clarified as we move on.

However, the topic in itself is quite contradictory because we cannot say what really ever defined or defines the juncture of being a marketer and a person. To illustrate how difficult it is to differentiate I would like to use the topic of pop-ups.

I am sure that most of you are aware of pop-ups and for those without the prior knowledge; pop-ups are small windows which pop up at times across your browser window with some message written on it. Usually, it is a form of advertisement that the site owner would like to project to you but at the same time would want you to stay with their site and not leave without taking some action.

It has been found out that these pop-ups are extremely efficient for sales and advertising purposes. However, the back lag is that they can be blocked. If pop-ups are blocked in a PC then the site owner does not get to make much profit through the pop-up. But, pop-up blockers are not used by all and sundry and can be very irritating at times.

I do not like them at all, if you were to ask me about them. Also I use a blocker as I cannot take the headache of going through useless rubbish and find just one useful article. So, I do look up pop-ups sometime but only when they are about something useful. So, they can really bring an income.

Therefore what have you decided, would you continue with pop-ups or just block them.

So, who are you? A marketer or a person?

As for me, I am a person who practices marketing!
