Success Mindset: Take Pride in What You Do

Internet marketing requires a lot of work when you’re starting. Like any brick and mortar business, it will take a lot of your effort, money, and time in the start. However, people around you won’t believe you at first. This is what makes it harder than it already is.

They just won’t see its value in the beginning. They would think that you’re simply nuts to try to make money online but you should continue with it. Have faith; take pride in what you do. This is a business. It’s more than just a website. It’s a start of a livelihood that will support you for years to come.

Back in the day, when I first started in late 2004, it was in December 2004 or January 2005, back then I would really be tired, I didn’t have knowledge and skills back then. I’ll be really tired; I’d be making a couple of cents a day from Adsense clicks when I first started, and I was really tired, and my wife now who was just my girlfriend at that time would ask, why are you so tired?

It was as if I don’t have any reason to be tired because I wasn’t making any money with my business. Well you have to treat it like a business in the beginning. If you’re tired you have a reason to be tired. You’ve been working your butt off. No matter how much money you make today or not. Treat it like a business; take pride in it, no matter what. No one’s going to believe it until you make it. No one’s going to believe it. My family didn’t believe, and they even wanted me to take three jobs.

They wanted me to take three jobs. Did you ever take three jobs?  I assume not. I dropped out of college and I think that was some kind of punishment but they wanted me to go back to college, they wanted me to see what it’s like to have three jobs or something like that. They wanted me to take the safe route but you know what I’m an entrepreneur.

If the same thing is happening to you, just stay calm and put your faith to work. This is a business. No one is going to believe you at first. No matter what you try to say to them, they’re not going to believe you, but you have to continue. Take pride in what you do.

The initial hardships will almost tear you down but after you gain momentum and start moving, the rewards will be great. You’ll be amazed at the financial freedom that your efforts will bring. Thanks!

Building Credibility with Your Blog

What I call a pure buyer will buy just about anything. You get them on your list or an affiliate sends traffic to your sales page and they’ll buy some stuff all the time, but most people are not like that, and the way for you to really make sales is through credibility, not just the sales page. Credibility has to do the trick, and here is a way to do it.

The good thing about social media and web 2.0 is that it’s really given us all a way of building massive authority and credibility on the Internet. To give you an example, here’s my blog. I want to show you a couple of things that I’m doing with it. I’ve just really beefed it up with credibility and free products and stuff based on things I’ve done on other niches like the guitar niche and it works really well.

So let me show you. First of all at the top of the main page of this blog I sometimes have a nested offer. If you’ve been on my blog recently, you would have seen the free audio product offer I had. The reason I place it there is because I find that if you just put a nested free offer at the top and at the center, it converts way better than an offer off of the sidebar.

You could also do this with an affiliate product if you want but it won’t help you build your credibility. So I recommend nesting something at the top of your blog. Whether it’s a product that you are trying to sell, something to give away, or even an affiliate product if you don’t have anything of your own.

What I like doing is having the product on top center with a graphic with it. It shows a lot of credibility. People who have products have a lot of credibility, so no matter what market you’re in, get a product, some graphics, and put it at the top of your blog.

Another good position in your blog to build your credibility is on the right side of the screen. I have several of my products on the right side of my blog. That too gives the same kind of credibility. It says this person has products; it’s just like being an expert. Like being an author of a book who is seen as an expert because of his writings.

Another element I placed in my blog to boost my credibility is my own radio show. On the left of every post you will see my own radio show through ustream.tv, a radio show gives you credibility. When someone lands on this blog post through the search engines and I’m on air they’re going to listen to it while they’re landing on the page. That’s another great credibility booster.

However, it’s on the right side of this blog that almost my entire credibility is built. I placed there three of my products and not only that but also several testimonials. It’s a really good thing. Anybody who lands on this page is going to think that those testimonies are social proof of whatever I’m doing right now. I had other testimonials on here where I showed people on video saying good things about my services and how my information changes the way they do business. If you’re on another niche try doing the same. Gather as much testimonials as you can and put them on the right side of your blog. This will increase your credibility and your conversions along with it.

List Building on Auto-Pilot: JV List Dumping

Here’s a technique that you can use to add more people to your list on auto-pilot. I’ve already presented to you WSO’s, giveaways, and ad swaps. These methods won’t take you an hour a day to do, and now I will teach you another list building technique, this time it’s something that runs on auto-pilot.

It’s JV list dumping, as the term implies, you’ll need to look for JV partners for this to work, and like I’ve said before, you really want to be sure that you trust the people that you’re setting this method up. The best people to JV with for this method are the people you’ve been master minding with for a long time.

JV list dumping is a technique that I and my friends invented pretty recently. Most marketers don’t know it yet and I’m actually surprised that people aren’t doing this even though a lot of people are sending out emails and the spaces are there already.

It’s bewildering that no one taught about this before. An application of this technique could double the results you get from your list building efforts. Though I haven’t tested it exclusively for a long time but I’m confident that it will easily double your list building results.

The best part about it is that it’s another simple system and you don’t have to maintain it. Once you set it up, it will run on auto-pilot.

This technique will optimize your opt-in processes and you can do it with two or three people, though I suggest three people max.

Here’s how to implement this technique.

When you promote your freebie, and after someone signs-up to your list, send them to your thank you page or download page where you promote your friends freebies.

Promote their freebie by adding a description of their gifts in your thank you page or download page and add a link to their squeeze pages. Do the same with the first email people get after signing-up to your email list.

When I send out emails, people would usually go through them and sign-up for everything I’ve got on there.

I’ve observed that people will see what you have for free after your opt-in page and they’ll opt-in for those stuff pretty much. I know this because I’ve been promoting free offers and out of 9,000 people who signed up 7,500 people signed-up again for the free offers in my thank you page.

This technique is great! Just think about it, for example, you do an ad swap and you get 300 new subscribers. If you are implementing list dumping at the same time, you’re JV list dumping partners will get about 250 subscribers because of this and they didn’t even do a thing. They just get all these new subscribers automatically.

And with this technique you’ll get the same from your partners. Every time your partners promote their freebies or do an ad swap, you’ll automatically get new subscribers as long as they keep your link in their download page or on the first email they send out to their new  subscribers.

This technique is very effective because people who just opt-in for free items are still in “Freebie” mode and most of them will go through all of the other freebies available and just sign-up for whatever you have there.

Joint Ventures: How to Add Thousands to Your List via Ad swaps

This article will talk about a technique that can add thousands of subscribers to your list. It’s called JV ad swaps. This is something that has gone on for quite some time now and I and my marketing buddies have caught on it early when it was happening. It’s funny because when you look around you’ll see all of the big names doing it, you just don’t realize they’re doing it when you’re just getting started.

This particular technique is very beneficial for those who have just started building a list or those whose list are just about a thousand subscribers. However before you do this you must already have a list to leverage otherwise nobody will joint-venture with you.

Ad swaps is basically trading your list with a joint venture partner. Here’s what to do:

Look for partners who you feel comfortable with. Choose the ones that you’ve masterminded with in the past or somebody who shares the same goals as you do, somebody who is trustworthy.

Create an email promoting your partner. Don’t forget to include a link to his website or squeeze page. Then send that email to your list. You’re basically sending traffic to your JV partner.

Since both of you agreed to do the same, you should also expect traffic to your squeeze page or website coming from his list. Ad swaps is all about sending your people to his squeeze page and him sending his people to yours.

The best way to monitor the traffic that you receive from each other is to use a unique URL for the ad swap or a squeeze page containing some traffic analytics script from Google Analytics or Statcounter. This way you’ll both have an idea how much traffic both of you are receiving from the adswap.

You could also create a URL that forwards to his address that you can monitor. There are some scripts available but the easiest that comes to mind is by using a URL shortening service like Bit.Ly. Create a URL in bit.ly that forwards to his website or squeeze page. Bit.Ly shows monitoring reports regarding the number of hits you sent a particular URL, so with this step you will be able to easily see how much JV traffic you sent his way.

Through this JV technique, you can leverage your list and start growing it exponentially. To give you an idea, a good friend of mine was able to build a list of about 10,000 subscribers in ten weeks just by doing ad swaps. Jani G to Launch TriFilliate PayDay on December 10, 2009
