5 Important Components You Must Have in A Squeeze Page

Your squeeze page is one of the most important parts of your system. It is the door of your business. This is where you send people to give you their name and email address so that you can build up your list and your business.

There are 5 important components in a squeeze that you must have in order to make it high converting.
1.    Pre-headline
2.    Headline
3.    Bullets
4.    Call To Action
5.    Opt-in form

#1 Pre-Headline – This should be short, to the point and awake interest. You should use psychological triggers like scarcity and exclusivity.  An example of scarcity is “download now before it’s gone”.

#2 Headline – The headline is the most important component of a squeeze page as it summarizes what you are offering to your visitor. You should always use red font color for your headline because it arouse curiosity in the head of the visitor. The curiosity factor is important in the headline.  What’s interesting about your offer?  Any backstory or anything that could create curiosity.  You should also have the big benefit. What is the benefit the visitors will get with your offer?.  Benefit + Curiosity = Great Headline.

#3 Bullets –  After the headline you are going to have bulletpoints. The bullets are little like the headline. They need to flow and have curiosity and benefits in them too, based on the material inside. Consider yellow highlights or underline on beneficial words to relate to your visitor’s needs.


#4 Call To Action –  Here you are basically going to restate the scarcity or exclusivity you have put on the pre-headline.  Because you want to create the urgency, so that the visitors will opt-in immediately.  And also you have to tell them exactly what you want them to do. Basically to opt-in.


#5 Opt-in Form – This is a piece of html code that you will get from your auto-responder service like Aweber or Getresponse. You will put this code on your website where the visitors will fill in their name and email address. I use Getresponse by the way if you were wondering.

It’s not difficult to create a well converting squeeze page. All you have to do is to pay attention to the 5 important components above.

Start Up Pays WebMasters $0.50 per Referral to “CUTE” Quiz Widget

RUNNING YOUR OWN SAFELIST – PART 2

In this installment of running your own safelist we’re going to cover a few things that we didn’t cover in the first installment, that we said we would. Sometimes we just get sidetracked. It can happen to the best of us.

In the first installment, I said we’d discuss the pros and cons of running your own safelist. The problem is, we never got to it. Instead we dove right into the process of actually starting to get your safelist. So let’s go over the pros and cons here.

The pros may be very obvious to you. Or maybe not. I don’t know. Most people when they look at a safelist only see a bunch of people sending emails to each other. How does that do anything for the person who’s running the safelist? Well, as a safelist owner, you do get a few perks.

For starters, you get the name and email address of every person who is a member. This may not sound like a big deal, but building your list is very important. Many people make most of their sales from their lists. Safelists are a great way to build those lists if you’re an owner.

Most safelists have multiple member options like free, pro and platinum. The pro and platinum options are not free. All those who sign up as pro or platinum members pay a fee to do this. Guess what? That fee goes to the safelist owner. So that is another pro. You can make money just from running the safelist and getting members.

Another benefit of running a safelist is that people like to run solo ads through their safelist to the main email boxes of the members, not the list boxes. Some people are willing to pay good money for these ads. Guess what? All solo ads that are taken out that are paid for bring that income to you.

Another benefit of running a safelist, especially today, is that it’s not hard to get members. Why? Because most safelist hosting services have mega submitter services that make it so that when you become part of their network, all the people who join the mega submitter ultimately become a member of your safelist. You’ll be surprised to see how quickly your membership base will grow.

The cons of running your own safelist? Well, there are a few. For starters, you don’t get to do this for nothing. Running a safelist usually comes with a monthly cost, unless you actually create your own safelist. And then you still have to pay for hosting. So be prepared to spend a few bucks.

Then there are all the headaches of membership. You’re going to have to take care of all customer service complaints and if your membership is large, this can be very time consuming. So make sure this is something that you want to do.

Of course you will also be responsible for paying commissions to members who bring in paying members. More work to do. And again, if your membership is large, this can be very time consuming.

All in all, running your own safelist does have its rewards. If you’re willing to make the sacrifices, it can be quite profitable in the long run.

Whenever I have tried to suggest that the best way to make money online would be the creation of ones own products, people seem to die that very instant. Either they shriek and expostulate how they have no money for the making of own products or they just stay silent and turn away without any expression. But, in reality, because you are unaware, you are building a misconception. It is because you can create your very own products and that too buy paying just about nothing. I am here to tell you how to do it and so read on if you want a cheap alternative.

Firstly, a product does not always have to be a cream or soap or some material thing. Ever heard of anything called informational product? Well we will sell the same. Basically, this product will provide information to people about anything you choose to tell them. The product can then be designed to include either written or verbatim information or instructions. They will also have some definite formats for the purpose. These formats may be anything from PDF to Mp3 and can be easily availed at a cheap rate. Sometimes they may also be got for free.

I personally feel that PDF files are better and easier to use rather than use any other form. Basically, it is the ease of development which pulls me. You can easily get word docs to transfer into PDF and the work will be done. In fact if you are looking for the Office pack then you can get it online and that too for free! Once you find it, just download and it will install smoothly of its own.

The benefit of the Open Office software is that along with all the functions and file creations, it will allow you easy development of PDF. The older version of the MS Office however, looks for external added PDF makers to work properly. So, you can get the Open Office if you want because no one has ever been heard to complain about it.

So, if you are harbouring thoughts of excess expenditure then just shove them off. There are very cheap alternatives available and you can even access free solutions for your work. With all the cheap material around you, do something constructive, get a video done, an e-book written and start making money. Once you start off, you can easily accumulate money and move on to better products.

But never say that creation of own product is expensive because shoe string budgets have also been highly successful in this industry.

As already mentioned, creation of products of your own is highly beneficial for marketing purposes as well as for making your business a huge success. I would here like to get into a bit of details about the same discussion.

Many people have told me that there is much money in affiliate marketing. It is true and I completely agree. I do not even wish to argue about it but if you ask me which I prefer more then my answer will surely be my products marketing. But there are certain problems with affiliate marketing which even the biggest proponents of the same will have to accept. But for the copywriting part you need to hire someone and get it done if you do not have any previous knowledge of doing the same. There are extremely well trained and skilled copyrighters available who would be happy to help you. Also, if you want to do it on your own then you can take the help of the hundreds of ebooks available on this topic. I personally have one called the “basic copyrighting in plain English” which you can refer to. Make sure that you do it right because it will make it sell.

Making your own products is fun and more so when no cost in involved.
