3 Customer Types to Focus on

There are as many different customer types as there are personality types. However, there are certain types that stand out as good targets for Internet marketers. If you have some time check out if you fall into certain niche markets that are populated by these three customer types.

Passionate buyers – these are people who are considered as premium buyers. They buy hot ticket items, and enjoy having the best stuff. They buy the state-of-the-art items. If you have these people on your list, you’ll be recession proof since most of these people are rich. If you can offer them the best that their money can buy then there’s a possibility that you’ll attain financial stability with these people.

Desperate buyers – these people are mostly motivated by pain. Think about the people suffering from acne, obesity, arthritis, or any other painful disease. These are desperate buyers. Those who wish to bring back lost love, save a marriage, get out of an abusive relationship. These are also examples of desperate markets. If you have these people on your list and you can provide the most valuable information to improve their situation whether in the form of information products or actual training then you can make some decent cash.

Bargain hunters – these people are the obsessive buyers who will literally buy everything you offer as long as it is way below the actual market value or they’ll get so much free stuff to go along with the product. If you have a lot of valuable PLR or MRR items in your arsenal then it will be beneficial to have these people on your list. Another good way to market to these people is to build a resell rights site and sign them up as members.

The 3 types of customers above are some of the best people to have on your list. Provide value in your products and go to marketplaces where these people go. Get as many of them as you can in your list and you’ll be in good, profitable company.

Look for Desperate Markets and Highly Motivated Prospects

Do you want to know how to sell easily? If yes, then put your thinking cap on and focus on two things, which markets has the most desperate buyers and which has the most motivated prospects. Here’s a hint, look for those in pain and those who want to gain pleasure immediately. The “acne” market is one and the “make money” market is another.

Markets with desperate buyers and highly motivated prospects are easy money makers because they’re more powerfully motivated to get what you offer other than buyers on any other types of market. Examples of these markets include:

  • Acne sufferers, those who believe acne is ruining their lives
  • Single people looking for relationships who are desperate for companionship and love
  • Anxiety and depression sufferers who would do anything to rid themselves of their burden
  • Obese people who are flat out embarrassed about their weight

All these markets are desperate buyers and are more motivated to buy than most markets. Remember the best prospects are those who are looking to relieve pain, whether it’s physical, mental, or emotional.

Looking out for these markets is a more intuitive skill rather than just running numbers. So to find similar ones, just ask yourself what are the common pains that people desperately try to avoid?

Let’s say you already had enough money to fulfill your basic needs and those of your family, after buying all the stuff you need to survive and you’re left with only $10. If you had arthritis in your fingers, what would you spend that $10 on?

Surely, you wouldn’t spend that on an ebook on how to play the latest video game, nor a report on how to blog. You’d probably buy some pain killers or something similar like a book on immediate pain relief or instant arthritis treatment.

The economy is in the dumps right now, this cuts out major spending, but people are still buying. People will always buy products especially those products that relieve pain and give pleasure.

So one of the best thing you can do as an Internet marketer is look for desperate markets, then look for the most effective products that will solve or relieve the pains immediately in those markets, and sell, sell, sell.

Enjoy!

The DANGER Of Buying Leads

Most people do open a website and start off with their business but after some time all of them face one common problem and that of traffic. Traffic at these sites become so low that these people start buying leads for the sheer purpose of attracting more and more traffic which will lead to a higher income. However, they do not understand that what they are doing is positively harmful as well as dangerous for them and their websites. Therefore I am writing this article to warn all of you out there about what are the dangers involved if you are going to going to buy leads. I will try my level best to prevent you from doing the same.

The very first problem is the completely shady identity of the site that you are going to buy your leads from. You never know where these leads are coming from because that is not shown on these sites; you simply buy it off the sales page. Moreover, this selling of leads directly through the sale page is highly illegal and you can have a legal case put up against you for purchasing the same. Moreover, you can be spammed so high that your entire ISP will be shut down immediately. Under no circumstance would you want your site to collapse, even if the traffic is slow and lean.

However, even if for arguments sake we consider that these leads are legitimate and you can use them then too your problem is not solved. The reason is that, traffic is not going to be targeted one and so you may have an acne solution searcher landing up at your computer parts selling site, which is extremely ridiculous, not to say inconvenient. Moreover, they will never be interested with what you have to offer if they are looking for some other thing and land up in a completely different page. It will only serve to tarnish the image of your website. Therefore buying leads is a huge loss of money and energy.

And by loss I mean a massive loss, not just a few dollars but a few hundreds and thousands of dollars. Have you even checked how much each lead costs? It is inhuman and criminal on top of being completely illegal. Any genuine and legitimate lead seller will obviously, charge you less and give you more quality leads.

But, overall, lead buying is harmful and dangerous. So, better stay away from it and look for some other alternative.

Traffic attraction is no big deal and if you search properly then you will obviously find a way out.

WHY OFFER YOUR OWN E-ZINE?

Good question. Certainly reasonable enough considering all the email horror stories I just told you. It would be perfectly understandable if you went running for the hills right about now. But before you do, you might want to read the following. It just may change the way you feel about starting your own e-zine.

What exactly is an e-zine? Well, an e-zine is short for “electronic magazine.” It is usually emailed to people though it can be in the form of a web page with a member’s login.

The first thing you need to understand is why somebody would sign up for an e-zine or news letter. This all comes down to why people even surf the Internet in the first place.

They’re looking for information.

This information can be anything from looking for a natural treatment for acne to trying to find directions for building a bird house. If you go to any search engine and type in just about anything, you will literally find millions of results on most topics. Yes, there is a lot of information out there.

But what if somebody wants a lot of information? What if they’re interested, not only in natural treatments for acne, but natural treatments for a number of ailments? Imagine how they’d feel if they saw something like this on the Internet.

Natural Health E-Zine…Get your weekly e-zine news letter where we cover a different health issue each week.”

A person looking for such a resource has just struck gold. Don’t you think that they’re going to sign up for that e-zine quicker than you can say “Bob’s you uncle?” You better believe they will.

Okay, you’re probably thinking now something along the lines of “Okay, but so what? How does this do anything for me to send somebody an e-zine on a weekly basis? What do I get out of it?”

What follows in the next few articles are a boat full of things that you can get out of offering your own e-zine.

The point is, once you’ve gotten these people to opt-in, as we call it, you now have the opportunity to occasionally (and I do stress the word occasionally) send them an offer for something to buy from you. We’ll touch on how often to do this later in this series.

Publishing your own e-zine and building a list is actually building your business. So now we’re going to show you just how to do that so that you become an expert at e-zine advertising.

What this does is establish you as an expert in your field as well. As your subscribers get your information, they’ll start to see how knowledgeable you are and will begin to respect you for that knowledge.

Plus, and this is something most people don’t realize, but offering your own e-zine, you actually get educated yourself. It’s unlikely that you will know everything off the top of your head. This is going to make research necessary. As you research, you learn. The more you learn, the better you get at your business.

So without any more delay, let’s get into how to actually put together your own e-zine newsletter that’s going to have your subscribers eating out of the palm of your hands.

Why People Buy Things – Part 10

In this final installment of “Why People Buy Things” we’re going to cover the number 1 reason why most people will buy anything, and it is the most important reason of all for so many reasons and on so many levels. We’re talking about quality of life.

Let’s face it, when it all comes down to the bottom line, the main reason most of us do anything, outside of those of us who spend our lives doing charity work, is that we want a better life for ourselves. Not only for ourselves, but for our children as well.

We may not consciously say to ourselves when we go to purchase something that we are making this purchase because we want a better quality of life, but deep down inside that is exactly what is going on and to try to deny it would be pointless.

So, how can we, as marketers, capitalize on this or take advantage of this? Well, the first thing YOU as a marketer must do is look at your product or service and honestly answer this question. “How can my product or service improve a person’s quality of life?” Simple enough question. And if you know your product or service as well as you should, then you should have no trouble answering it. When you’ve done that, all you then have to do is take your answer and make it part of your ad or site itself. You need to let potential customers know how your product or service is going to give them a better quality of life.

For example. Let’s say you’re selling a home cure for acne. How can this give somebody a better quality of life? Many ways. For starters, they’ll look better once they use your treatment so they’ll feel better about themselves. They won’t be self concious about going out in public. Most likely they’ll have an easier time meeting new friends or even that special friend. If this isn’t an improved quality of life then I don’t know what is. On top of that, they’ll actually be healthier because of it.

What if you’re promoting a money making opportunity, which so many of us do? Well, this is also very easy. What you do is not so much promote the opportunity but how that opportunity can make people more financially secure because of all the money they’re going to make with it. This financial security will improve the quality of their life because they won’t have to worry about not having the best food, clothes, medical care, shelter and other things. They’ll be able to provide for themselves and their children. That’s what this is all about.

If you can’t look at your product or service and come up with at least three ways that it can improve the quality of somebody’s life, then you really have to seriously reevaluate what you’re selling. If you can’t come up with anything good about it, how do you expect potential customers to be able to do the same?

Quality of life. It’s the bottom line.
