3 Ideal Business Models

Your vision of your business determines how much money you’ll make along with how much time you’ll spend each day working.

It all has to do with one thing…Leverage.

The ideal business in my opinion would be to have a ClickBank product like fatloss4idiots.com that made 21 million in 2009.

I don’t know their entire marketing strategy, but I imagine it’s mainly this…

A lot of affiliates pounding your offer with traffic all day while you handle customer service.

And that’s IT.

What’s the leverage lesson from this product?

If you have a hot product and high converting sales page in a mass market, you may find yourself living the life.

Imagine outsourcing to a few virtual assistants who handle all your customer support and affiliate support while ClickBank pays all affiliates plus you, and you have the TIME to do what you want.

You could be on a permanent vacation if you want.

This simple model is so obvious, yet why don’t marketers act on it?

Maybe it’s because they don’t think they have the credibility or they can’t create a product?

If you check out fatloss4idiots.com, there’s not even an author, there aren’t any proof elements.

Yet it did 21 million last year!

As for a product, what’s stopping you from buying private label rights to a niche product, rebranding it, and just writing an amazing sales page for it and tweaking it for the highest conversion rate possible?

What’s stopping you from launching products especially when you can get rights to a niche product for $20 then resell it for $47?

Are PLR products good quality?

There are some amazing PLR products and here’s why…

There are so many experts out there who come up with amazing products BUT they don’t know how to sell!

So many of them just end up selling rights to their products to other marketers for chump change.

————————————-

It’s funny because the most profitable things online are OBVIOUS.

You have a product and you get others to market your product for you while you make sales and build a nice big buyers list.

Then you use that buyers list to sell more of your own products and affiliate products.

————————————-

Option #2:

Another ideal business in my opinion is being an affiliate who does this…

*Has found a few high converting and high paying continuity programs.

*Has an eye for high converting sales pages to promote.

*Is focused on generating a list of leads.

*Is highly joint venture focused.

You may find you’re making thousands of dollars per month while working half-days.

…IF you successfully leverage joint ventures to grow at an amazing rate.

Or you may even be a PPC or CPA traffic buff.

For more info on PPC, go listen to this: http://erevenueselect.com/ppc-call.html

Just keep in mind that it’s more profitable and easier to have 2000 affiliates showing up in YOUR merchant stats rather than being 1 of 2000 affiliates showing up in another merchant’s stats.

———————————

Have the business vision that’s going to grant you the income and the amount of free time you wish to have on your hands.

———————————

Option #3:

Sell coaching packages in markets like Online Business, Weight Loss, and Relationships.

It doesn’t take more than a handful of coaching packages sold per month to do very well online.

There are wealthy people who come from the offline world who just want to have theirhands held.

They jump online and they want to get on the fast track.

As for coaching other Internet Marketers, you’ll be teaching them many basic things… hosting, setting up a website, product creation, traffic generation…

The main perk is making money before you even have to deliver the work. And you can charge $1,000, $5,000 or even $10,000 or more for a coaching package.

What’s the downside?

You’ll find you’re spending 8-12 hour days fulfilling and preping your coaching sessions.

But it’s a model you may consider if you enjoy it, don’t care about how much time you spend working, and just want big bucks.

Coaching is not for me at least…

Option #1 and #2, even if you make less, are better in my opinion since I value time above all else.

When I coached around 40 clients in 2008, I felt completely drained every day.

But heck, some people like it.

I prefer different forms of leveraging, even if it means less income.

Most Valuable Website Real Estate?

Are you utilizing the most valuable real estate on your website?  Odds are you’re leaving up to thousands of dollars per month on the table because I’ve personally only heard one other person in marketing talk about this… even though it’s being implemented by some of the richest marketers online.

There’s one particular piece of website real estate I want to talk about that can make MAMMOTH profits from.  It has to do with the process of opt-ing into your e-mail list.  The piece of your website that you MUST utilize is this… The page right after opt-in… whether it be from a squeeze page or blog.

This is probably THE most valuable piece of real estate on your website because of a couple reasons.

1, Everyone you generate on your e-mail list will see this page (which means you should promote the most profitable offer you’ve ever promoted there).

2, A pure buyer will buy anything. They’re addicted to spending money. Why not put something right in front of his face after opt-in?

Most pages after the opt-in simply say “Please check your e-mail box and click the confirmation link to receive your free report (or whatever).”

This page should not only say this at the top, but you should try to sell something on this page at the same time.  Whether it’s a sales page for your own product or a link to an affiliate sales page, or a rectangular banner, this is a place you can generate a lot of sales.

I actually use single opt-in, which creates a better user experience for the prospect I believe.  My message after opt-in says something like, “Thanks for signing up.  Your freebie is being e-mailed to you as we speak.”

Then there’s an offer right underneath.

If you use double opt-in, just promote underneath your message that says they must confirm their email address.

Let’s talk about another piece of valuable website real estate… Inside your freebie at the end of a PDF report you should sell something because again, everyone on your list will see this.

Not everyone on your list will see every offer you promote to them after.

Another good place is similar… on the freebie download page.  You can monetize that as well and make great money.

So… if you want to utilize your valuable website RE, here’s the process you should take:

1) Offer something on the page after opt-in along with your message to confirm your e-mail.

2) Offer something on your freebie download page and/or inside your freebie.

6,500 Subscribers In 10 Weeks – Amazing Audio Replay

My good buddy and JV partner Jit Uppal used a free listbuilding strategy to grow his list from 3,500 to 10,000 in just 10 weeks. The other day we did a call where he goes in depth about the strategy. It’s something I’ve also been doing for a long time and it works. It’s insanely powerful actually. Come to think of it, I didn’t quite catch Jit, but I did grow my list by about 4,000 in the same 10 week period he grew his by 6,500.

Another thing about this listbuilding strategy… If I didn’t know about the strategy and I knew for certain its power, I wouldn’t have any problem forking over $1,000 just for this interview. After all, what’s $1k when I just built my list by 4,000 in 10 weeks by using it? 4,000 subscribers equals roughly $4,000 per month or more for most marketers. For some marketers, 4,000 subscribers equals $40,000 per month.

If you know how to monetize your list, then yes, you can make serious money just from a small list. Craig Garber… list of 5,500 or so. Made over $500,000 last year I think. Matt Bacak… made his 1st million in 1 year with a list of just 10,000 subscribers. Jason Fladlien… once had list of 1,500 and made $30,000 per month.

So what is the information on this call worth? It depends on how much money you can “massage out of a list” as J. Fladlien would say. Jit has been generous enough to give the MP3 of the call away for the time being, which he will sell for $47 or more sometime soon. He’s giving it away because of marketers who are serious about getting somewhere with their business and they’re trying this or that… with little results.

You could be like Jit if you want. This is his primary strategy at the moment, and not only does he build his list, but he also monetizes his traffic at the same time. He has 200+ subscribers into a $97/mo continuity program, gets several sales from OTOs from the prime real estate prospects land on after opt-in, and is beginning to sell big ticket using the process.

Now… without futher ado, here’s the replay.

7 Powerful Internet Marketing Strategies

Last night I was feeling saucy, so I let the cat out of the bag, revealing my 7 powerful internet marketing strategies that make me the most money with the least amount of effort.

If you already have the resources and capital, then you can put almost all of these into play in your own online business.  This forum post could easily be expanded into a $27 report or $97 product for that matter.  However, I’m not currently creating products because I enjoy the freedoms of affiliate marketing.

Some of these strategies you likely won’t even find in those expensive courses.  So go check it out.  It’s my gift to you… and in the right hands, insanely valuable.  This is probably the most insightful post you’ll ever read from me.

Internet Marketing Tools

This post includes, in my opinion, the best internet marketing tools. This isn’t a post to display every single script, service, or piece of software on the net… what use would that have but only to appear like an impressive list? So some sections have a few tools, some only 1 recommended tool.

Email AutoResponders

GetResponse: Recommended 3rd party autoresponder. High deliverability. Can use single opt-in and your list will have the same deliverability as those with double opt-in.

AWeber: Recommended 3rd party autoresponder for double opt-in. If you’re hesitant to use single opt-in, I recommend AWeber because of their high deliverability. They’re the oldest autoresponder company on the net (GetResponse is only a couple years behind).

AutoResponsePlus: Recommended autoresponder for hosting on your own dedicated server. This is ideal for gigantic lists because you pay for the script once and install it. 3rd party autoresponders charge more and more money as your list gets bigger. The only downside is that you handle spam complaints and deliverability issues. The only quality autoresponder I know of that you can export your ARP3 list to without having to confirm email addresses in case deliverability is low is iContact.

WebHosting

HostGator: One of the top hosting companies online who just reached over 200,000 customers. They’ve been around for a long time and have great support.

SiteGround: Recommended hosting company for the technically challenged. They provide fast support, which is their USP. If you’re going to need a lot of support, go with them.

Keyword Research Tools

Google AdWords Tool: This keyword research tool gives you the most accurate results based on searches in Google’s engine. I’ve found that other popular keyword tools like SEO Book’s are inaccurate in comparison. And if you’re using inaccurate KW research tools, you’re going to be in a world of hurt when you spend months going after ranking high for a keyword when it doesn’t get as much traffic as you might think. Also with Google’s tool, make sure to select “Exact Match” because it’ll show you the amount of searches for the exact keyword. Do not select a keyword based on “Broad Match” or the other 2.

WordTracker: WordTracker can display data of daily searches and competition of keyword terms, which is ideal for winning over longtail keywords for small amounts of traffic at a time.

Social Media Tools

ping.fm: ping.fm allows you to post on multiple social media sites at one time. For example, instead of just making a Tweet on Twitter, you can “Tweet” across MySpace, Twitter, Facebook, and Livejournal at the same time.

Social Bookmarking Tools

OnlyWire: OnlyWire has a free ad supported service and a paid service. You can bookmark several social bookmarking sites at the same time.

AutoSocialPoster: This internet marketing tool allows you randomize the act of social bookmarking to appear more natural to search engines and also the social bookmarking sites, so that your accounts don’t get banned for excessive bookmarking.

Merchant and Affiliate Program Tools

Rapid Action Profits: This is a script that allows you to have your own instant PayPal commission affiliate program. There are several other features as well, but the big perk in this script is that affiliates love instant commissions instead of waiting up to over a month for commission payouts. They get commissions instantly and therefore promote your product like crazy.

InfusionSoft: InfusionSoft is extremely expensive and reserved for businesses that are already doing well over 6 figures. What is it? You can have your own affiliate program, but the main perk is the direct response followup marketing technology.

Pinging Tools

Ping-O-Matic: Allows you to ping your RSS feed.

Link Submission Tools

Incansoft RSSBot: This is a piece of software that submits your RSS feed to around 50 aggregators or RSS directories.

Article Submission Tools

iSnare: This is actually a service that mass submits your articles to directories and other outlets. The reason why I recommend it over article submission tools such as Article Post Robot and Incansoft ArticleBot is because signing up for all the article directories is time consuming, whereas with iSnare, you don’t have to spend sometimes days setting up your accounts.

Website Data Collection Tools

Alexa: Alexa can tell you roughly where your site ranks among the rest on the net according to how much traffic you’re generating. However, there is a flaw in that the data is collected based on who has the Alexa toolbar installed on their browser. So a tech-savvy website may have a significantly better Alexa ranking than a site on motorcycles which actually generates more traffic… because bikers don’t download the Alexa toolbar. I don’t even have it.

Quantcast: This tool will tell you about related sites and where visitors go from various sites.

RSS Syndication Tools

Twitter Feed: Twitter Feed allows you to syndicate your RSS feed through ping.fm or your Twitter account.

Press Release Submission Tools

Webwire: Webwire is actually a service that will syndicate your press release submissions. If you put a press release on here, you can often be on the first page of Google for a term instantly. Whenever there’s any kind of news with your online business, you ought to submit a press release to Webwire.

Video Submission Tools

TubeMogul: TubeMogul allows you to submit to several video sites at the same time such as Viddler, YouTube, and Dailymotion.

Directory Submission Tools

Incansoft DirectoryBot: This is the best internet marketing tool as for directory submissions go in my opinion. Your site gets submitted to hundreds of website directories without having to sign up for any sites. Though you’ll need to fill out any captchas that popup.

Affiliate Marketing Tools

OfferBuzz: OfferBuzz is a search engine that will display results on various affiliate offers across several networks, including ClickBank.
