Bestsellers are Clear Indicators of Hot Markets

During the past week I listed several ways to clearly identify easy money markets, by knowing which markets are hot, you’ll save lots of money, resources, and effort spent chasing after niche markets that just won’t convert.

The ability to find lucrative markets is critical whether you’re a newbie or an old-timer when it comes to Internet marketing. Being in a niche that doesn’t have enough demand is like looking for water in the middle of the desert. It’s hard and counter-productive. What you should look out for is an Oasis. A market where the demand is high and there are successful enterprises to model your business after.

There are several ways of finding lucrative markets. Some SEO experts look for keyword long tails. It’s a popular method among technical people; however it is tedious and requires a lot of hours in digging for long tails of popular keywords.

Some internet marketers on the other hand use a different strategy. There is what we call results determination. It’s about looking at the results of certain markets to know what works. This method is easier, since you’ll be leveraging the work done by ecommerce sites, and you can use the results for yourself.

You won’t need a lot of time and resources to do this. It’s as simple as going to the site and looking at the presented information. You usually don’t have to sort the data because the ecommerce site already accomplished that for you.

One particular example of this is by going through the list of bestsellers in Amazon.com

In relation to judging markets by high sales volumes and high search volumes within a buyer’s market, the lists of Bestselling products can give you a similar insight.

If you visit Amazon.com’s Bestsellers page, you’ll find the bestselling products across several markets. Use this information in planning the niche to get into. Remember, having a bestselling product in a niche means either there are a lot of buyers in that niche or the product has strong influence on buyers, or both. If you’re wise then ride that trend. Venture into that niche and either become an affiliate of that product or offer some add-on for that product. Do anything to take advantage of the trend in that niche.

Remember bestsellers are clear indicators of easy money markets. Use it to your advantage. Enjoy!
