These 10 sources of market data are valuable tools to help you predict the profitability of a niche without second guessing. They are all valuable tools. Use them to determine first hand if you will be making a killing in a particular niche market or whether that niche could actually kill your business.

  1. eBay Pulse – Shows the hottest trends in eBay. There’s the most popular searches, the largest ebay stores, and the most watched items. Use the information there to determine the public’s interest for certain niches or the lack of it.
  2. Clickbank’s Marketplace – this site is mostly for digital products like ebooks, ecourses, tutorials, and softwares. Visit this site if you want to get some information regarding downloadable products. You’ll find out what types of info products are selling in your market. You’ll even find out hot buttons from sales pages and the type of information people are willing to pay for.
  3. Amazon Bestsellers – You can basically use Amazon bestsellers to research trends for almost all products since Amazon carries almost all types of products now.
