Instead of putting your free offer up on a CPA network to build your list quickly, there’s a way to have your own viral CPA affiliate program (which means you don’t have to shell out any extra cash to the network, but you do need to find your own affiliates… that’s ok because it has a viral effect). CPA networks are so crazy that some marketers are spending 100s of 1000s of dollars per month building their lists with them. It’s not uncommon to be able to grow your list by a couple thousand subscribers in just a few hours.

But most of us don’t want to commit to paying out that kind of money to a CPA network. You have affiliate fees plus fees to the network. Let’s say you just want to roll your own CPA listbuilder out on a smaller scale on your own, cut out the network fees, and just pay affiliates. This can easily be done with 1shoppingcart.

An example is Bill McRea’s new ClickBank Training. The only other people who I know of that have rolled one of these CPA affiliate listbuilders out are myself, Lance Tamashiro, Jason Fladlien, and Justin Michie who I believe may have been the first to come up with the idea. I’m willing to bet others have launched these after the success of Michie’s first one, but I don’t know about them.

Basically, you pay $1 for every confirmed subscriber affiliates send to your CPA offer. In CPA networks, I’ve heard of a lot of marketers paying around $2.50 per lead. Not only should you offer $1 per subscriber, we’ve found, but also offer commissions for one-time-offers.

If you optimize and test how you’re monetizing the signup process, then you should be able to cover the affiliate payouts from OTO sales alone. You might also consider offering some kind of continuity program.

So here’s what happens with these 1SC CPA offers…

You promote the offer and also get your JV partners to promote it.

You offer the affiliate program to whoever signs up after they sign up. This will give your offer a viral effect.

You get a lot of affiliates who will bring in 10 to 20 subscribers. Make sure you have a minimum payout of at least $10 because you’re going to get several people who’ll make a buck and it’ll take hours upon hours to pay out people who just make a buck.

I’ve seen lists grow between 3,000-10,000 in less than a month with these type of listbuilders.
